In total, there are nearly 116 events to enjoy the Pays d’Ajaccio with family, friends, solo, or as a couple. On the program: exclusive visits to the Citadel of Ajaccio, the A Cupulatta turtle park, a honey farm in Ocana, and many of the local vineyards in the Pays d’Ajaccio.

Discover Ajaccio on the famous Petit Train, which offers two narrated tours in eight languages (French, English, Italian, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese):

City Tour*: Travel back in time to 1492, the city’s founding year, in eleven stops including City Hall, Place Foch, Diamond Square, Anglican Church, Napoleon’s Cave, the Statue of Modesty, Saint François Beach, the Cathedral, the Citadel, Maison Bonaparte, and the Pascal Paoli statue.

Sanguinaires Tour*: Explore Ajaccio through fifteen iconic locations including City Hall, Place Foch, Diamond Square, Anglican Church, Napoleon’s Cave, Greek Chapel, coastal beaches, the Mediterranean statue, Statue of Modesty, Saint François Beach, the Cathedral, the Citadel, Maison Bonaparte, and the Pascal Paoli statue.

*Practical info: Departure from Place Foch. Tickets available online or on site. City Tour: Duration 45 minutes with a 15-minute stop at Napoleon’s Cave. Price: €8/adult, €4/child (3–9 years). Sanguinaires Tour: Duration 1h 40min with 15-minute stops at Napoleon’s Cave and the Sanguinaires Islands. Price: €12/adult, €5/child (3–9 years).

Comfortably seated on Ajaccio Vision, take in the city from above. The Casone monument, dedicated to Napoleon, will reveal all its secrets. From the Sanguinaires road to the Parata point, enjoy a 360° panoramic view. There’s a stop at Pointe de la Parata with a splendid view of the Sanguinaires archipelago. Open daily. Tours start at €10/adult with half price for children.
