The Corsican Resident Fare
Since January 1, 2024, the new Corsican Resident Fare has been in effect on Public Service Obligation (PSO) routes operated by Air Corsica and Air France from Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi, and Figari to Marseille and Nice (PSO operated by Air Corsica), and from March 25, 2024, on the Paris-Orly route (PSO operated by Air France and Air Corsica).
The core principle of the Corsican Resident Fare remains unchanged: passengers must prove they have their main and permanent tax residence in Corsica. The main update involves a significant fare reduction on these routes and the implementation of a single required document to qualify for the fare:
a French income tax notice showing the name, first name, tax address in Corsica, and the tax identification number.
Confidential details such as income, amounts, reference numbers, and Social Security numbers shown on the tax notice or health insurance certificate must be masked.
Students under 27 who are not attached to their parents' tax household must provide their own income tax extract for the current year to benefit from the Corsican Resident Student Fare.
Key updates requested by the Office of Transport of Corsica under this new PSO:
Return fare between Corsica and Paris-Orly: from €235.47 incl. VAT* (including €92.47 in taxes)

Online accreditation procedure for Corsican Resident status
Air Corsica and Air France provide an online document submission platform, allowing Corsican Residents to upload their tax proof and receive a Corsican Resident accreditation number.
For dependents without their own tax notice, it is necessary to also upload a health insurance certificate proving that they belong to the same tax household.
This process must be renewed annually, and accreditation is valid for 13 months. Once accredited, Corsican Residents are no longer subject to in-person checks, as status verification is done in advance.
Corsican Resident accreditation is mandatory to access the Corsican Resident Fare.
To benefit from the fare, travellers must complete the accreditation process before their planned journey.
Thanks to the new online procedure, travelling at the Corsican Resident Fare on PSO routes with Air Corsica and Air France is now cheaper, easier, smoother, and faster than ever.
