Under certain conditions, Air Corsica can supervise disabled children or those with reduced mobility. Please contact our assistance service, MEDA, on 0809 10 11 30 (charged as a local call from a landline)

How can I organise supervision for my child?

At the airport

The supervision of your child will start on their arrival at the airport, where they will be welcomed at the check-in desk by the Air Corsica staff. Then, a meeting time and place will be given to the child as well as the person accompanying them. It is from this moment that your child will be formally supervised by a member of our staff who will accompany them to the aeroplane.

Whenever possible, and with comfort and safety in mind, your child will benefit from priority boarding.

Please note: you are requested to wait at least 20 minutes after departure of the flight before leaving the airport. This is because if the flight is cancelled, you will be able to collect your child while awaiting confirmation of the replacement flight.

Check-in of your child

Check-in for children travelling unaccompanied can only be done at the airport, and more specifically at the Air Corsica check-in desks. Please accompany your child to the check-in desk at least 45 minutes before the check-in deadline for their flight.

On board

On board the aeroplane and during the whole flight, the cabin crew will take constant care of your child, ensuring their comfort and safety. They will also receive games and magazines to make the flight more pleasant.

Please make your child or teenager aware of the need to stay in the same seat during the flight and to stay seated up to the moment of arrival, until a member of staff comes to collect them.

In transit

In transit, your child will be supervised by an Air Corsica staff member at all times.

Upon arrival

Upon arrival, your child will be accompanied to the designated pick-up person. This person must be at the airport at the estimated time of arrival and must show an identity document with a photograph.

In case of flight delay or cancellation

If the flight taking your child is delayed or cancelled, they will remain under constant supervision by the Air Corsica staff in priority over the other passengers. In this way, your child will remain under constant supervision by our staff, even if overnight accommodation is required. The people whose details are in the travel file will be informed immediately of any special action taken to accompany your child throughout the journey.
