Baggage

How much baggage can you bring on board ? What is the difference between cabin baggage and hold baggage ? What to do  in case of excess baggage ? Children’s’ baggage, size limits, prohibited items, sports equipment, etc. You can find all the information here you need to prepare your baggage.

Hold baggage

The baggage allowance is 23 kg per passenger on Air Corsica flights. Each passenger can therefore take one item of baggage weighing a maximum of 23 kg in the hold. For more information about the maximum size of your hold baggage and prohibited items in your bags : Cabin/hold baggage.

Cabin baggage

Air Corsica allows passengers to travel on their flights with one piece of cabin baggage of 8 kg maximum on the ATR and 12 kg maximum on the Airbus. There are specific dimensions to follow for your cabin baggage, and certain accessories are also allowed in the cabin. Excess baggage

In the event of overweight or oversized baggage, Air Corsica applies an additional fee according to the number of pieces of baggage over the free baggage limit. For further information : Cabin/hold baggage.

Freight baggage

Above the weight and size limit for hold baggage on Air Corsica and certain types of goods (fragile, dangerous, very heavy....) must be transported as freight. This affects any overweight (more than 32 kg) and oversized baggage. For further information : Freight baggage.

Special baggage

Transport of special baggage on Air Corsica flights requires prior approval from Sales Support. This baggage is charged differently and must be mentioned when booking. It mainly includes sporting equipment and any baggage that exceeds the weight and size limit for travelling in the hold, and therefore must be transported as freight.
